About
Arena of Thebes is an adult gay visual novel. Its focus lies on atmospheric and filmic storytelling. This means lots of fully fleshed out cg artworks supported by atmospheric sounds. Arena of Thebes is a kinetic novel and has therefore no player choices impacting the story at this time.
Story
A group of guys unexpectedly find themselves thrown into a social study. Locked up with no escape and little privacy while pitted against each other in athletic competitions. Enter the arena and experience this exploration of male relations in conflict, companionship, romance and physical intimacy.
Versions
This is the public version of Arena of Thebes. The public version has censored full frontal nudity on the newest chapters. You can still enjoy the full story and some butts in all chapters with chapters getting uncensored over time.

Hello , i found a problem.
Your chapter 5 public zip, upon executing the .exe launcher , triggers a virus alert for a trojan/phonsy virus (Trojan:Win32/Phonzy.B!ml) . Idk if it's coming from the download from itch.io directly or from your side. i'd recommend taking a look onto it.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. First I've heard of it, though. I've downloaded it again myself and compared it to the zip I uploaded and there are no changes made so this is most likely a false positive from your antivirus detection. After some quick research it looks like this issue has been popping up with the newest renpy version which I also updated to. I'll take a further look to see if I can prevent it from falsely popping up again. Or I might need to switch back to an older renpy version.

This game is so interesting, the plot is sooooo fun! This may be unusual but I kinda want Number 14(bloodied boy) and Mathew(name spelled wrong probably) to get together, I mean the cold, unfeeling guy and the wacky, non serious but actually smart guy is such a good pair😩🫶 all in all I just can't wait for more!!!! I'm craving for more chapters!! Thank you for making such a great game!!

I WAS SO WORKED UP WHEN BLOODY GUY PUSHED MATEO TO A ROOM AND STARTED UNDRESSING
When I try to install it on Windows (11) it says I'm missing an app that I need to open the application. Does anyone know what that might be? This isn't the only game it's done that to, but not all the ones I've downloaded give me that error either. Please help :c
Hm, that's weird. Should be everything included in the zip folder to run. Does it say what's missing specifically? Perhaps there is some required windows file missing or not up to date.
It just tries to take me into the Microsoft store to find a missing application, but it just says the app it was looking for can't be found.
I just ended up downloading it onto my tablet and it works just fine
